Welcome to Yifan’s personal website that doubled as a digital garden rewilding yard.
I am a seismologist and geophysicist. All around bad coder. Stubborn bike commuter. I like tinkering with stuff, whether it’s a piece of code, a bike, or a sourdough recipe.
After defending my thesis at ETH Zürich, I am currently an SNF postdoc.mobility fellow at MIT EAPS.
Full CV can be found here and as a PDF file.
What I am up to
- Gave a short interview about the 2024 Hualien earthquake on Money FM , a Singapore radio station.
- Undertake my postdoc fellow project on better earthquake cycle simulations with Prof. Camilla Cattania at MIT. More details here.
